On 7 March 2026, St Luke's first Parish Away Day will be taking place.
We hope that this day will be a refreshing occasion, on which we can enjoy each other's company, grow more connected as a community, and deepen our faith in God.
We will be spending the day at the beautiful Kairos Centre in Roehampton, which backs on to Richmond Park, and we will be exploring prayer, with the help of a guest speaker, Father Ben Kerridge.
Fr. Ben is the vicar of Holy Innocents Church in Hornsey. He is a Spiritual Director, and teaches on the Ignatian Spirituality Course at the London Jesuit Centre—and he also enjoys improv drama!
The day will include: music and worship, teaching, a choice of two or three workshops, and the opportunity to spend time connecting with God in the house's beautiful prayer rooms or garden, which includes a labyrinth and nature trail. We will close with communion. Youngsters who are in secondary school are welcome to join us for the day.
The cost is £50 for adults and £35 for under-18s, and includes lunch and tea, coffee and biscuits at breaks.
